Voters endorsed two local candidates for the 2025 election cycle during the East Bloomfield Democratic Committee caucus.

Margaret (Peg) Gochenaur was voted in the 2025 Democratic candidate for East Bloomfield Town Clerk, a role she has filled for the past 12 years. Margaret is a lifelong resident of East Bloomfield and an active member of the New York State Town Clerk’s Association. She’s also a member of the Ontario County Municipal Clerk’s Association, New York Association of Local Government Records Officers, New York State Court Clerk’s Association, East Bloomfield Cemetery Trustee, and is currently President of the East Bloomfield Historical Society. Margaret always strives to make the Clerk’s office an independent office responsive to the needs of all residents of East Bloomfield. 

Sheila M. Sulli was nominated to be the Democratic candidate for Town Board. Sheila has lived and raised her family in Bloomfield for 32 years. She spent 6 years on the board of the Bloomfield Central School District, served as a school nurse at Bloomfield Elementary School, and has owned and operated businesses in Bloomfield for over 10 years. 

The caucus also voted to cross-endorse Frederick A. Wille as Town Supervisor, Robert (Tripper) D. Torno III as Superintendent of Highways, and Kathleen Cooper as Tax Collector.
