2026 Midterm Elections

There are no local elections this year for the Village of Bloomfield/Town of Holcomb-East Bloomfield. Midterm Elections (named for the term of the sitting President of the United States), require every member of the Federal House of Representatives, some members of the United States Senate, and various members of state and local offices to run for office.

For the 2026 Midterms, all members of the New York State Assembly, consisting of Districts 1-150, will be voted for this November. New York State’s state senate districts 1-63 have elections this year.

There are also Ontario County elections, and every member of the Ontario County Democratic Committee require petitioning.

What’s the 2025 Local Election Forecast?

Nearly all Ontario County city and town offices will be up for reelection in November 2025. Most offices will have a 3-year term, but some are only 1-year. All of the following East Bloomfield offices are for 3-year terms.

  • Town Supervisor (1)
  • Town Council (2 seats)
  • Clerk (1)
  • Highway Superintendent (1)
  • Tax Collector (1)
  • Judge (1)
