Key Dates to Remember

This page includes information on obtaining Absentee Ballots, Accessible Voting, and Early Voting by Mail and in Person.

Democratic Primary Election on June 23rd:

<pSaturday, June 13th: Mail Registration must be received by the Board of Elections

For the General Election on November 3rd{

All Absentee Ballot applications are due by Saturday, October 24th.

Early Voting Locations

During the early voting period, the polls will be open from Saturday, October 24, through Sunday, November 1, 2026. 

The 2026 General Election, early polling places in Ontario County, New York, are tentatively located in Canandaigua, Geneva, and Victor. All registered voters in the county can vote at any of the three locations.

Early Voting Locations (Tentative):

  • Canandaigua: Board of Elections Office, 74 Ontario Street.
  • Geneva: Geneva Housing Authority Main Office, 41 Lewis Street.
  • Victor: Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street. 

Early Voting Hours (Tentative):

The hours vary by day during the early voting period: 

  • Saturday, October 23rd: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 25th: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday, October 26th: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 27th: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 28th: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 29th: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday, October 30th: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday, October 31st: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 1st: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additional Guidance:

  • If you vote at an early polling site, you cannot vote again on Election Day.
  • If you prefer to vote on Election Day (Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026), you must go to your assigned polling site. In East Bloomfield, the official polling place for all districts is the American Legion Building in Veterans Park.

  • If you have questions about any of our Democratic candidates, county, state assembly or senate, statewide offices (governor, comptroller, attorney general), or congressional, please complete the form below.
